Referring to an analysis of the Fourth Korea National Health and Nutrition Examination Survey in 2008, coffee is actually having a good benefit to kidneys in Korean women from the studies in 2,673 women aged 35 to 84 years.
The comparison study is focusing two groups of women. The first group of women drank less than 1 cup of coffee per day; the second group of women drank over 2 cups of coffee per day. Therefore, it shows that coffee consumption was significantly associated with a decreased risk of renal impairment especially in middle and elderly-aged diabetic women.
