Referring to our early article, the future production of coffee beans is unstable due to global environmental change, and Ethiopia has launched a protection plan. The government of Ethiopia has embarked a long-term program in coffee section, and created a budget of $20.8 million and plans to run from 2023-2031.
The Ethiopia coffee project comprise billions of dollars in public and private investments with a focus on large-scale production landscapes for agricultural products such as coffee, cocoa, corn, coffee, livestock, palm oil, rice, soy and wheat. The government of Ethiopia targets to improve the livelihoods on almost half million people, and restore ten thousand hectares of unproductive coffee lands, while restoring and managing sixty thousand hectares of key forest land.
